What would you wish for? Extravagantly?

I wished that I could go to a huge meadow..
Somewhere far away.. Where the air would smell fresher,
cooler. The sky clearer, bluer. The flowers smiling.

I would be lying there looking at the funny shapes of the clouds,
and joined to me by interlocking fingers, would be him.
There would be a slight breeze..
and his hair would be softer than usual, moving with the flow of air.
Love simplified, yet magnified and brought to light..
Rabbits and hares would come up to us, unafraid and curious.
We soak up the sense of peace, the reassurance of each other's presence.
All this while we feel, but don't look at each other.
But when we finally do, we smile, fully contented.
The light in his eyes tells me he feels exactly as I do.
We want to be stuck in that moment.
Together.
Forever.

Just the two of us.
