Hmm.. Seems like alot of talk has been going on about the star search winners.
I missed the telecast, sad to say.
Would like to know wth all that controversy is all about.
Dennis's brother was one of the top 12 singaporean finalists! Haha.. Just an interesting piece of weirdfo.

Well, in my opnion, I think singlish is part of the unique culture of singapore, and Phua Chu Kang is almost an icon here.
Nothing wrong with a lil weird english, as long as when the need arises, singaporeans can switch smoothly to using proper english.
As for the song about SARS, it is just a light hearted sorta way to put thru a serious message.
Would you rather hear a song sung in perfect english in the manner of our national anthem?
Anyways, it's damn catchy, which is the whole purpose of the song anyways.
