Man its like an oven out there.. Advice to all females who cycle: Don't wear heels when pedalling your bicycle. Bleh. I wore heels because I forgot that I had to cycle the bike home fro the station.. They just kept sliding off the pedals, making my legs dangle helplessly while I try to regain my balance, or getting caught in the damn pedals. Looked like an idiot, felt like a piece of toast. I wished they would lift the one nominated visitor per patient rule in Changi General Hospital.. Umm, yeah my mum is in hospital.. She had stomach & abdominal pains and has been in the hospital since 2 am the day b4. And they still don't know what the hell is wrong with her.

I know they save lives and help people, but damn they are inefficient. Those of u people who have never tried to admit a patient or get urself admitted in there wudnt know how DAMN long it takes. It took 7 hours. From arriving at the hospital, registering, waiting for the nurses to check on her, then getting a number, then waiting for the doctor to check on her, to getting an X ray done. The X ray pple were changing shifts, while the queue outside was building so bad there wasn't enough seats. The two x ray rooms were NOT in use at all.. Couldn't they change shift while X rays go on? Waste of precious time. And the place was so friggin cold. Then after u get the X ray done, you gotta wait for the hard copy, then wait to see the doctor again. Then you gotta go to the nurses station and get this heart thingy tt had a name made up of abbreciations done, then wait somemore. Then she had to get a urine test done. Then wait somemore. Then, to the observation room, where we waited an hour and a half for the damn doctor to come, so that he could decide whether he wanted to admit her.. After he decided to, we had to wait another and a half for the doctor to print the damn admission form, which I suspect he took so long because he forgot. Then. wait another 45 mins to make a damn payment for the deposit, but that wait was OK, cos there was some drama for entertainment in the A&E. And thru all that waiting, my mother was in pain, crying when the needles hurt so much, and wincing when her tummy acted up again. Plus, majority of the time, we had no idea wth we were waiting for. ARGH.

Phew. That was a long complaint. Haha.. If u read it, I must say.. I'm surprised. Thanks.
